Beachscape

wellll...about hour and a half of work =_=
i came home after halloween outings and even though i had work the next day i figured 'i'm wide awake anyway, it'll take me a while to wind down' so......PAINT EVERYTHING!!
stayed up waaay past the time i should've been in bed.
btw this is only about the length of my arm; it's a small painting. (justifying the lack of details! *hides from flying cutlery* ok, so i should've put a little more effort in, but still...i was experimenting! it was FOR SCIENCE!! *ducks under table again from ambulatory domesticware* well, fine then, but at least someone likes it!)...

don't know where in my memory this came from - it's really just my imaginings, i guess, nowhere in particular (any resemblance is purely coincidental, i can assure you i didn't use references...). i don't quite like it myself, but a birthday present was long overdue and she happened to see it and went O_O "mine!", so it's hers now.
